June,2018: Findoc- Financial Services Group
in collaboration with NCDEX officials conducted an investor education
program in Ludhiana which enlightened the investors perspective on the agro-
commodity market. NCDEX launched a new contract KAPAS (raw cotton) on June 14, NCDEX official
Mr. Manish Malhotra, Mr. Deepak and Product specialist Mr. Mukesh discussed
about the attributes of the new contract. Two representatives of SEBI were also
present in the event. Attendees were keen and had interest as Ludhiana being center
of spinning mills and cotton being the basic raw material they learnt hedging
using futures platform and earn riskless profits. Development of the
agricultural sector is crucial to the growth of Indian economy. Commodity
exchange plays an important role to strengthen the forward and backward
linkages. Vibrant spinning industrialists of Ludhiana were engaged by one to
one meetings at their offices also and hedging was discussed at length.

Mr. Nitin
Shahi Director of the group discussed on black box trading platform which is
provided by the company. This works on a defined set of rules and instructions
given by the clients. He has emphasized on the strategies used in the computer
based algo trading platform. He shared that if technology is properly used it can
earn a client profits from any juncture of the market. Algo trading also helps in reducing latency
of the trade execution also increases trade efficiency.
Investors were enthusiastically participating in
the session and clarifying their doubts regarding algo and agro-commodity.

All
attendees including SEBI representatives admired the meeting. Findoc group keeps
on doing these investor awareness programs in different part of county in
association with different exchanges for spreading awareness about commodity
and equity markets for educational purposes.
